Mary Berger passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at the Rockyview Hospital. She was born and raised in Okotoks, Alberta on February 23, 1929. Mary was a teacher in Kathryn, Edmonton and Calgary. She is survived by her 4 children; Gordon Macaulay, Laura Rogers, Heather Wilson and Andrew Macaulay; 1 stepdaughter, 4 stepsons, 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Springbank Heritage Club 32224A Springbank Road ( 244168, Range Rd. 33, ½ mile south of Calaway Park), Calgary, AB on Saturday, April 28 from 11 am to 2 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Mary’s memory to STARS Box 570, 1441 Aviation Park NE, Calgary, AB T2E 8M7; Ronald McDonald House 111 West Campus Pl NW, Calgary, AB T3B 2R6; or to the Calgary Women’s Emergency Shelter 201, 2616 – 18 St NE, Calgary, AB T2E 7R1.
