Messages:

Please accept my deepest and heartfelt condolences at the loss of Charles. I was deeply saddened to learn of the passing. I first met Charles when I first moved in Baywater. He was super nice and he would stop me to see how I was doing while I was getting the mail or stop me for small talk. We talked about his short time he did at Canadian Pacific Railway and told him to apply on my side I do as I do maintenance away. I am still in shocked you will be dearly missed so rest easy my friend.

Chuck was a proud ironworker with an extremely hard work ethic whom was always a laugh and genuine camaraderie with his fellow iron workers abroad, he always spoke highly of his family which who I’m sure will miss him greatly. Rest easy chuck!

Chuck was an awesome friend! I met him up at fort hills and we always sat at the same table together for breaks! After fort hills was done and I was coming through Calgary to work we would meet up and have a blast! You will be missed my brother! You are an amazing friend and i will never forget you fell!

Chuck was always a pleasure to work with and made ironwork with a partner a blast. 100% solid guy and a great fellow newie.

My cousin. My friend. I will never forget you. I know some of your struggles. I also know of your loves and your joys. These are what I will choose to remember until we are together again.

I'm so sorry for your family loss... Hits home, I didn't know him personally but my family and we are all saddned. and wishing you all the love and prayers

Lou, how does one deal with this loss? I wish I could tell you, or better yet tell you that it is all a bad dream. I DO KNOW, that what I taught you as a child at Plain View, is STILL TRUE - "There's A FATHER UP ABOVE, LOOKING DOWN IN TENDER LOVE." It may be difficult to, but let HIS LOVE ENCASE your sore, bleeding heart ❣️. I do not understand why, and we may never, BUT He knows best. So TRUST HIM!!!!!!!!! TELL HIM how lost, how awful you feel. Tell HIM WHATEVER your needs and pains are - and feel HIS ARMS OF COMFORT enfold you. My love, thoughts and prayers are with you and family at this crucial time. May Chuck Rest In Eternal Peace.

It was with much sadness that I heard of Chuck`s passing. I worked with him at Fort Hills a few years ago. He spoke often of his family with great admiration and joy. We always had a great time and he was one of the best Ironworkers that I had ever met. My condolence`s to his family, he shall always be remembered fondly.

So sorry to hear of Charlie's passing. Must love go out to you and your family.

Ohhhhh I saw how much Charlie loved my A Level classmate, Louesta, and even if I’m sad for her now, I’m happy that Charles was in her life. May his soul Rest In Peace and may my friend navigate her new normal the way that suits her best!

Lou, Tristan, Hayley, Norma, Annie and family, there are no words to say of how sorry I am for your loss. Charlie was family first but we grew to be friends! I will cherish all my memories of him and will dearly miss him. Sending you all my love and deepest condolences ❤️
