Linda Kay Stonehouse

January 12th, 2020

In loving memory of Linda Kay {Larsen} Stonehouse, passed away peacefully at Pinegrove Place, Richmond B.C. Jan 12th 2020 after a long courageous fight with Alzheimer’s. She and her husband Ed enjoyed their retirement travelling the world. Both retired in 1999 after enjoying 25 yrs as flight attendants.

Linda is now free and she wanted all her friends and family to know she lived a full life and savoured much, boating, skiing, partying and of coarse shopping. Till we meet again, your loving husband Ed.

A private celebration will be held at a later date.

We would appreciate instead of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s society.

You are invited to leave a personal message of condolence for the family.

Remembering Linda is with a warm heart and fond memories. She was a generous and sharing sister-in-law who taught me to be "street smart". She lived life to the fullest and was a great negotiator just like her father Earl and brother Dick. She could find a deal everywhere. She always opened her house to us and we were welcome anytime. Linda was a beauty with style and grace. I wish her final years could have been as warm and fuzzy as she always made us feel. Bless you Linda. With Love, your sister-in-law (Ralphs wife) Bobbie Larsen

Dear Linda, .... your laughter and that sassy smile.. not to ever be forgotten... wonderful trips together in our crazy early days of flying.. didn't we all have a great time back then? Your spirit is free now to fly again and be happy ..... sweet release... Be okay Ed...wishing you comfort and peace of heart .. Joy & Brent

Thank you Ed for caring for her all these years! Take care,

I am so sad to hear of Aunt Linda's passing - as is the entire Ralph Larsen family! We have only the fondest memories of Linda and our own "window to the world" she was for us - always bringing home treasures from far, far away and sharing stories of her world travels! Her fight was courageous just like she was, and our hearts ache because that treacherous disease. We will always remember the fun-loving, happy soul of Linda. Her laugh is my favorite memory of her which I will hold in my heart forever - I can still hear it and it brings me comfort. Now we watch for that many more pennies from heaven! Please let us know about memorials and celebrations. Lots of Love and Sincere Sympathy ~ Lindi (Ralph's eldest daughter and Linda's niece)

Ed...am heartsick I was not there to give her another hug. She was doing well the 24th of December, thought she would last a bit longer. Such resilience. Thankfully her struggles are over. Now it is time to take care of yourself. Will call you when I return Feb 8. Much love...Lynnevr8g4c

Having just gone through the same situation with my partner of 44 years, as sad as it is to see them go, with this horrible cruel disease it’s actually a blessing for all concerned, as we all know, there is no cure. Hang in there Ed . Regards Don Chard
