B. Jean Gregson

July 20th, 2020

GREGSON, B. Jean (nee Blair), born 1943 in Langley, died on July 20 at St. Paul’s Hospital.  Jean is survived by her beloved husband and best friend Alan and five brothers: Doug (Anne); Jim (Marilyn); John (Sonya), Terry (Lynne); and Gordon (Cindi).  She was predeceased by her loving mother Doris Blair, father William C. Blair and infant brother Richard.  Jean is also survived by nieces and nephews: David (Nancy), Nancy (Rob), Jill (John), Bill, Bob (Liz), Mary (Dave), Andrew (Michelle), Cathy (Ole), Stephen, Liz, Cameron (Vicky), Carissa (Geordi), Kelsie (Craig).  She has many extended family and friends who will also dearly miss her.

Jean lived life to the fullest despite a lifelong struggle with Cystic Fibrosis.  She found joy in everyday things and shared that joy with many people.   A memorial service with her immediate family will be held at the United Churches of Langley.   In lieu of flowers it was Jean’s great wish that donations be made to the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.  A Celebration of Life for Jean is being planned for a better suited time in the future.

You are invited to leave a personal message of condolence for the family.

Dear Allan, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I know there are no words that can bring comfort at this time, but I wish you peace and am sending love. May you find some solace in remembering the beautiful life and love you shared.

Allan Condolence's to you in the loss of Jean

Mr Gregson, it is with sadness that we noted of Jean's passing in July. I recall with fondness of her stories she shared with me, during her visits, of the family and her in Hawaii and her excitement to always return. This always made her smile.
