Kenneth P. Baker

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kenneth P. Baker, husband, father, papa, brother and friend to many. Ken passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 3, 2020, at the age of 78. Ken had a long 12 year battle with Alzheimer’s.

Ken is survived by his wife Sylvia of 56 years, their 3 daughters, Carrie, Kim, Kelly (Terry), 5 grandchildren, Rebecca, Ryan, Heather, Amy and Tyler, one great-granddaughter, Jaeda. His brothers Rob (Lori), Les (Margot), sister in law’s, Ann and Sandy. He was predeceased by his father, Cliff, mother, Ruby and brother, Bill. Ken will be missed by all of his family, extended family and many friends.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all the people who cared for Ken and supported our family during his illness. Dr. Khan and Staff, Dr. Samoil and all the caregivers at Czorny Alzheimer Centre.

A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SMH Foundation, designated to Czorny Alzheimer Centre in memory of Ken Baker.
