Messages:

I offer my condolences to Ann’s family. Ann’s children were the Centre of her life. Her grandchildren were the joy and heartbeat that keep her so young in spirit. She took life’s challenges in stride with her strength, wit and grace. I’ll always miss Ann, her humour and wise advice. I can honestly say I’m a better person for having known Ann.

My condolences on the loss of Ann Bishop. Ann was a participant in our senior fitness classes at Glen Pine for many years and was loved for her humor and involvement in making the class a fun place to be.

Sylvia knew Ann from aged 15. They attended the same school in different years, Lady Eleanor Hollis, and both attended St. James' Church, Hampton Hill. Ann's parents lived by the back gate of the church. They were both in the young people's fellowship and church choir together with other mutual friends (Ruth and Jen etc.). Ann married Rodney at this church and in 1964 Sylvia married John there too. We have photos of both. Happy memories!

My Auntie Ann faithfully sent birthday presents to me and Nick throughout our childhood. They were always exotic, and by far the most exciting things we received. I remember a lockable five-year diary, a set of beautiful ornaments, a manicure set, pencils with my name on them and a huge kite for Nick. The cards she sent were always modern and colourful. We last saw her in Guildford with Amy (2019?) and I learned of her intelligent and astute observations, happy demeanor, generous spirit. She was a steadfast Christian and provided support to her husband Rodney in his late years, in good spirit and wholeheartedly. We are truly sad that her goodness is gone from the Earth, but we pray we will be together again in heaven. Lots of love to you all.

Your mother will forever remain in our thoughts and in our memories. I miss her kindness, friendship, and her sense of humour. Deepest sympathy to family and friends.

Ann was such a kind, witty and lovely and loyal client. I enjoyed every one my appointments with her over the last 20 or so years. She always spoke so highly of her beloved children and grandchildren. I will miss seeing you Ann. Sending my love and condolences to Amy and family. ❤️
