Jaymie Lynn Wilson
July 5th, 2024
It is with great sadness that we announce that our beloved daughter, Jaymie passed away peacefully, after a brief illness.
Jaymie is pre-deceased by her grandparents, Gilbert and Rosella Wilson, Lorne Stemsrud, Maxine and Jim Syrett.
Jaymie is survived by her parents, Randy and Pam Wilson, brother Jarot (Sara), children, Kaleb, Liam and Mason. Twin brother Chad (Nicole), children Abbigail and Isabella andher brother Aaron. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Jaymie started out life, by spending her first month in the NICU in Regina with her twin brother Chad. They were released on their mothers birthday om March 22, 1985. Jaymie was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, and spent her early years in the special education system in Regina. She attended pre-school at Wascana Rehab Centre, then onto Sunshine, pre-school. Her other schooling was at Elsie Mironuk, WH Ford, then onto Winston Knoll Collegiate. After graduating Winston Knoll she was accepted at the Cosmopolitan Learning Centre where she spent almost 17 years, under their care and guidance. Jaymie developed into the centres “social butterfly” and “super helper”. She spent her days socializing and helping out whenever and where ever she could, and having fun with the workers and clients alike. She especially enjoyed the outings with her besties, Amanda and Judy.
During Jaymie's 7 week stay in Palliative Care, Jaymie developed a special relationship with the nursing staff, where they had mutual love and affection for each other.
Thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff at Palliative Care in the Pasqua Hospital. A special thank you to the staff at the Cosmopolitan Learning Centre.
Jaymie is very loved and will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends.
In Jaymie's memory we ask that plant a purple flower for her.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that you donate to:

To Randy, Pam and family. I am so sorry for your loss. Although I only met her a couple times, Jaymie was a delight when she was to visit at the restaurant. She was so full of life and laughter and always had a big smile for everyone. Heaven has gained another angel!
It was definitely a privilege to call Jaymie my friend! She would never let me pass by without out saying hi! My foundest memory is when she came to my daughter bowling birthday !! My deepest sympathy and condolences at this difficult time!
I worked with Jaymie at Cosmo. She was a very loved and active participant. She made me laugh on the daily. I haven’t been there in over 9 years but I do know she will be truly missed. Rest in Peace
I’m so so sorry for your loss. Jaymie was an amazing girl and everyone she met will likely agree! I only worked at Cosmo for a short time but that didn’t stop Jaymie from saying hi every single time I saw her out even years after me working there. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
This is so sad... Jaymie always helped a participant and I with paratransit, and she always asked about my dogs, and my baby before I went on mat leave. Very sad to know she won't be there when I get back... She was so loved!
I am so sorry to hear of Jaymie's passing. It was an honour to have met her, and you. Mya (therapy dog) and I looked so forward to our visits.
I’m sending all the love and support to your family. Jaymie is such a wonderful girl - inside and out. We would sing ABBA together every Tuesday afternoon and she would help me out every Wednesday morning with para- transit. She was such a blast to be around; made every single day so much better. Sending you so much love. -ashton (or Ashley according to Jaymie).
