Sharon Elizabeth Ward

May 28th, 2019

Sharon Ward passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 in the Regina General Hospital. She was born on May 26, 1944 to Paul and Bessie Pittlik at Bangor, SK. Sharon spent most of her life taking care of her children and driving school bus. She loved driving bus and having her second family with all the children on her bus. Sharon loved her farmyard. She spent numerous hours cutting grass, tending to her flowers, and watching her lovely birds - especially her hummingbirds outside her kitchen window. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and her great-grandchildren. She always had that special smile on her face. Sharon could carry a conversation with anyone she would meet. She spent numerous hours on the phone talking to family and friends. Within the last few years, she had to leave the farm due to health reasons and move to Humboldt, SK. Shortly thereafter, she moved to the Melville nursing home. She would always try to make it to her grandchildren or great-grandchildren’s events which she loved. Sharon will be remembered by her daughter Sherri (Robert) Brule family: grandchildren James and Rochelle (Duncan) of ON; daughter Teddy Ward family: grandchild Sarah (Todd); great-grandchildren Trey, Marcus, Spencer, and Charlie; grandchild Lee; great-grandchildren Noah and Sunny of Saskatoon, SK; daughter Lavinia (Trevor) Campbell family of Aborfield, SK: grandchild Bryant (Jolene); great-grandchildren Jacobi and Bronwynn; grandchild Chanda (Clayton); great-grandchildren Emmett, Mason, and Wyatt; grandchild Burke (Nicole); great-grandchild Charmayne; grandchild Radley and grandchild Rustin (Haylee); great-grandchildren Eastin and Aldin; son Courtney (Lisa) family: grandchildren Brittany and Tony; daughter Rhonda Barmby family: grandchild Doyle (Heather); great-grandchildren Ashlyn, Karina, Maddy and grandchild Teesha Ward; sisters Elleanor Kormas and Pauline Ward; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Paul and Bestie Pittlik; sisters Jewel Middlemas and Glenda Reid; brothers-in-law Steve Kormos, Dave Reid, and Joe Ward.

We will be having Mom’s Celebration of Life on Sunday, June 2, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Springside Hall, Springside, Saskatchewan. It is going to be a Come and Go Gathering. Instead of flowers, we would gratefully accept donations to the Springside School children’s activities.
