It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Valentine Rapitta on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at the age of 81 years. He was predeceased by his parents John and Sophie Rapitta; brothers Philip, Ted, Bill and Len; sisters Betty Lamont and Dianne Wood. Valentine is survived by his wife Eileen of 53 years; daughter Donna (Sean) Prupas; sons Jeff (Amanda) Rapitta and Miles Davis; six grandchildren Kevin, Blake, Luke, Savannah, Braxton and Nathan; also his brothers Randy (Carmen) and Ray; sisters Shirley Thevenot, Doreen Gogal, Georgina (Ken) Moreau and Bonnie (Erling) Madsen; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He enjoyed talking to people, telling jokes and making people laugh. Val was a skilled auto mechanic, loved working on cars, especially the older ones. Memorial Service will be held on
Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in Knox-Metropolitan United Church, 2340 Victoria Ave., Regina, SK. Donations in memory of Val may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or a charity of your choice.
