Mary Cecilia Lezon

November 1st, 2019

Mary Lezon (nee Dosselmann), dearly beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend passed away peacefully in the Regina General Hospital on Friday, November 1, 2019 with her family by her side. Mary was predeceased by her husband Edward Lezon. Mary survived by her loving family; daughters Rhonda (Anthony) Kurucz and Jolene Lezon; two sons Ryan Lezon and Dean Lezon. She will be sorely missed by her grandchildren James Lezon, Shayla (Benjamin) Nameth  and Kurtis Kurucz.

Mary was born on April 8, 1947 in Archerwill, Saskatchewan on the family farm. She graduated from Kelsey Institute in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan with her Combined Laboratory and Ex-ray Technician Diploma. Mary was a very talented artist, who loved oil painting, watercolor art, as well as many other mediums and forms of artwork. Mary had a wonderful sense of humor, and loved visiting with her friends and family, gardening, and listening to music.

Mary always had a self-less attitude, was hard working, and full of empathy for the hardships of others.  She did her best to  brighten up the world and will be sorely missed. We all looked forward to the day, that we will see her again.

Private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Messages:

I remember Mary from my lab days. She was always a joy and I know she will be missed. With sympathy to her family.

Our condolences to Mary’s family. She was a really nice lady with a wry sense of humour. She was so enthusiastic about sharing her genealogy information with others on what she had learned. I will always remember her acting in a play with the “Sandpiper Players” years ago. She said “Hark I think I hear the train” or something to that effect and lo and behold the train whistle blew at that exact moment! It was the highlight of the play that evening and Mary was the star!

Dear Rhonda, (I still call you Dosselman sometimes....) I didn't know your mom could paint! But I did know how hard she worked for her family -- and the sense of humor isn't a shock because you share that trait too... She was also a very strong woman -- something I've always thought about you.... My sincere sympathies to you and your family. Tammy

Mary's family - we are so sorry to hear of the passing of your Mother, Grandmother, very talented and friendly that will be missed by many. Rest in peace Mary.
