Messages:

It has been 5 months now since Donn passed, and still he is greatly missed here at the 'pool shark' table. His eager smile and witty chats and stories, always ready for a game challenge or a bike ride. Good memories. Fortunate to have known you Donn, and proud to call you my friend. RIP !

I didn't know Donn well. I just knew him as my neighbour from across the hall, but he was one of my favourite people to see when at the apartment. He made living there a little more bright, with his infectious smile, eagerness to chat, and I'll miss seeing him. My condolences to the family.

I was saddened to read of Donn's passing. I met him in 1986 and had lost touch in the past several years but will never forget his friendship and concern for me that he always extended. I often ran into him riding his bike and we would do a catch up of each others life at that time. He and Linda attended my wedding ceremony and I know how hard losing her was on him. I wish all of you peace at this time. He always shared how proud he was of his kids. I'm sorry for your loss. Respectfully Tracy

Condolences to his lovely family. We have many good memories at the lake with all the kids. Rest In Peace Donn.

A good man.

Donn was a kind, polite and respectful man with an incredible sense of humour. He was always eager to help out - to change a lightbulb, wash windows, carry groceries, hold the door or shovel some snow. We would see Donn playing pool daily ! I think he was a “ pool shark”. I wish I would have taken some lessons ! Donn also loved riding his bike ! Donn will be missed ! “Quality of life is better than Quantity “ Peace be with you.

So sorry to see that my old friend " double N Donn " has passed. Donn and i shared many thoughts over a cup of coffee. Later when my cousin moved into the apt. bldg. where Donn lived, i looked forward to bumping into him and enjoying a chat. Condolences to the family.

We are so sorry to hear of Donn's passing. He was always there with a smile and a laugh and glad to open the door for our mother in the same building. He was a true gentleman. He has been and will be missed. Our condolences to the whole family
