Frank Pius Eiswerth

April 15th, 2019

Eiswerth, Frank

Our dear husband, father and grandfather, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2019, in the Regina Pasqua hospital after a short battle with cancer at the age of 75 years. Frank will be lovingly remembered by his wife Linda, of 51 years; daughter Kari (Clayton); son Jay (Kelissa); grandson (Jacob); sister Marie; brother Richard; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents and 9 siblings. Family and friends knew him as a devoted, kind, witty, modest and hardworking husband and father, who always had a one liner and closed his visits with “Linda start the kids!”. Frank was known for his love of cribbage, watching sporting events, fishing and playing golf and his regular batches of “sultze” which he loved to make! “Frankisms”, appeared during his hospital stay and will forever remain and continue to be used by his son, son-in-law and grandson – “Okay Fine”, “I can’t know”, and so many others! In keeping with Frank’s wishes, a service will not be held. Thank you to Dr. Cuddington, Dr. Alport, and the staff at 4B (Pasqua Hospital) as well as the Palliative Care Staff, for the loving care provided to him on his last day.

Messages:

I had the privileged of working with Frank for more than 10 years. Frank was a great friend and mentor to me. We spent many hours playing crib and discussing sports and current events, I always respected his analysis of both. Frank had a profoundly positive effect on the lives of everyone who had the great fortune to meet him! He will be missed. To Linda and family my deepest condolences.

Linda, Kari and Jay I was so very sorry to learn today of Frank's passing. Frank and I worked together in Regina in 1975/76 and became quite close. We were in a new city with no relatives or friends close-by and Linda you may recall that you and Frank looked after our little daughter, Shelley while we were in the hospital having our son Jason. Always so kind, giving and thoughtful. I like to believe that we will all be remembered not for what we said and not for what we did but by how we made people feel. For that Frank will always be fondly remembered.

Dear Aunt Linda, Kari Jason and families We were so sad to hear of Uncle Frank passing! Always remember how he made everyone laugh! We are praying for you all! Love and hugs Diane and Harold Xxoo

Heart felt condolences to you Linda and your family. His legacy will be all the fond memories that I have read on this page. Love and hugs to all.

May love surround you during this difficult time. A great friend is already sorely missed. wanted to send you something to make you feel better but how do you send a hug by mail. Hearts to all the family

I will never forget the first time Tim introduced me to his Uncle Frank back in the 80’s. The moment he heard my name he instantly came up with a special new name for me and from that moment on I was forever to be known as “Boat People”. I cherish that and laugh about it to this day. Frank was a wonderful one-of-a-kind man. It’s so hard to lose someone who has always been right there and always too soon to say good bye. Linda, Kari and Jason, our family’s deepest condolences go out to you and yours. Much love and many warm hugs to you all.

My deepest sympathy Linda,Kari,Clayton,Jay,Kelissa,Jacob for the loss of Frank. He was a favorite brother-in-law & friend. We will all miss him dearly and have many precious memories. We enjoyed playing cards, spending time at the lake, holidays at Kelowna, trips to Estevan, hockey parties & many more events. Deeply saddened by Franks passing.,we go back a very long way- high school actually. He was very mischievous & we all had just great times together as many of you can also imagine. We connected again years later when I was able to help them sell their house prior to moving to Estevan. Also helped Jason buy his first home. Frank was just a great person to know and is one that you do not forget. Linda, Jason, Kari may your souls be healed by the gentle hands of time.

I am so sorry to hear that Frank passed away!! He was one of a kind character for sure! Knowing him for many years, and it was so wonderful reuniting with him and Linda when I moved to Estevan! His one liners, well he always had one and he was so witty and always had such quick replies! Many laughs indeed!! Frank will be missed by many and forever loved! Sending my love to all, Linda, Kari and Jay and your families, I am thinking of you all and sending you my deepest condolences! Rest in paradise Frank

Linda we are so sorry for your loss, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family in this trying time

Sending our love. My childhood memories of Uncle Frank include the time we kids took apart his piece jigsaw puzzle and thought we could put it back together again; we couldn't and he wasn't too happy with us. Another memory is the night he took us to our first football game (I wore my blue gingham dress-perfect attire for a football game) and the Roughriders won in the last few seconds.

Linda and family, I was shocked to hear of Frank's passing. I worked with Frank at GB Contract Inspection and enjoyed his sense of humor. He sure kept me on your toes. "I can't know" was a daily response to any questions. . I will always remember him with a smile on my face...cause that was what he did....made everyone smile. My sympathies to all Frank's family. He will be deeply missed.

To Kari and family It is with sadness that I write this message of condolence. Loving memories make the heart grow stronger. It is our hope that you find comfort in remembering who your father was and draw strength from family and friends. Iris and John LeBoldus

I am so sorry to hear of Frank's passing. My heart goes out to you and your family! Sending hugs!

So sorry to hear Frank headed into eternity. My greatest memories were of him as a teenager baking when we went to Grandma and Grandpa’s in Regina. Before that, was skating on the slough on the farm. Vic, Frank, and Ken taught me to skate and I still do occasionally. I loved his goofy sense of humour and wondered how Linda could not have a sore side from laughing at him sometimes. He brought lots of joy and laughter into the family and will be missed greatly. Love, Elaine Kotyk (Dewey)

We were shocked to find out that Frank was that sick and will certainly miss him. For myself Lorne, I will remember him from all the help and direction he gave me early in my selling career. And the many crazy times the four of us had playing cards and drinkin rum. Linda, we are here for you for anything you may need. Our sympathies to you and the family.

Linda, Kari/Clay, Jay/Kelissa & Jacob, as well as all other extended family.....we extend our thoughts of sympathy and pray for comfort and healing in this great loss.
