Messages:

Kay, You and I go back almost 80 years. I remember you as being somewhat shy, gentle and kind, even as a young boy. You had curly hair and a sweet smile. You were willing to do anything Marilyn and I cooked up. As the years progressed, you became more interested in machinery, taking things apart and fixing; remember picking stones and haying season; you were quite muscular! Saturday night was a time to get dressed up and go into town in hopes there would be a good movie and meet up with other like individuals. I remember your tan jacket with strings hanging off the sleeves, and your large cowboy hat. You were a real "dude"!! You and a pal went off to work in the oil fields of Alberta and make a little money - - those were difficult days. I last saw you, Kay, in Regina 10 years ago at your favorite coffee house where you would meet with some of your cronies. We had a short but sweet visit and I can still feel your hug. I will always remember your kindness and caring, Kay. Have a good and safe journey, my friend. Auntie Jan.

I was introduced to Maurice through my neighbour's coffee group. He was a kind and gentle man. He will be missed. My condolences to his family. May the strength of family and friends help you through this difficult time.

Maurice was curling with us on our team at the Highland Curling Club up until about ten days ago. We will miss him.. Sincere condolences to the family at this difficult time..
