Megan Dawn Marie Boychuk

December 13th, 2019

We are deeply saddened by the loss of our beloved Megan, who passed away suddenly on Friday, December 13, 2019.

Megan lived everyday to the fullest. She taught us to cherish everyday moments. She had a smile and a laugh that was contagious. Megan was an enthusiastic happy child who was adored by all who had the pleasure to know her. Megan was captivated by music. She loved to sing and dance. Whether at school dance parties or at home on the weekend with her dad for wiggles palooza. She would lay on the floor and her arms, legs and body would fly. Megan was not a morning person and would ignore whoever greeted her before 10:00 a.m.

Megan’s interests included sailing, swimming and pajama parties. Megan loved snuggle time and painting her toe nails pink with mom.

She is described by those who loved her as strong and spunky with a mischievous side. She loved the sun and wind on her face and to catch rain or snow on her tongue.

Megan enjoyed road trips and loved riding in her van, the bumpier the better.

The family would like to say a special thank you to everyone involved in her care throughout her life. We considered you extended family. Some kids are not lucky enough to have a second set of parents. Megan was so lucky to have Auntie Susan and Uncle David who adored and doted on her.

Megan enjoyed Face Timing with Laurel, Isabella and Josh. She also enjoyed many special bonding moments with her brothers and sisters, Christine, Justin, Mat, Olivia, Randi and Tanya. Megan showed her love unconditionally. She was a gift and we are grateful for the time we were given with her.

A Come and Go Afternoon of sharing love and memories will be held on Sunday, December 22, 2019 between 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the North East Community Centre, 160 Broad Street, behind Imperial School,
Regina, Saskatchewan.

Flowers gratefully declined. In lieu of flowers, please donate in Megan's memory to the Kinsmen Telemiracle Foundation, 2217C Hanselman Court, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan S7L 6A8 who provided exceptional support to Megan, so that other families may benefit in her memory.
