Messages:

My heart aches for your loss. Let was always kind to me and always had a smile. Very sorry for the entire family.

Len was my big brother! He will be deeply missed. In his way he shaped me in to the man I am today. For over 30 years he has always been there. One of my fondest memories was the first “Ride for youth” through big brothers and sisters. 1200 km over 2 weeks on a bike. I was 15-16 at the time. He showed me I could do it. He never let me give up. During the ride or the 6 months we spent training for it. With time we drifted apart a bit but he was always checking in to see how I was doing. He never forgot the people who where important to him. My thoughts go out to his family and friends.

I am so very sorry for your loss. He was a great guy and wouldn't hurt a soul. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. My mom Audrey sends her condolences to you all as well. Condolences and prayers to Elaine,Kalandra, and Robyn, and the entire family to help you get through this tough time. He will always be in our hearts. The Williams Family

Please accept our heartfelt condolences. We were fortunate to see Len and Robin at Denny's a week before he passed away. We feel so grateful to have been given the opportunity to enjoy a visit. Thinking of all. We have many memories that make us smile. Len was such a warm, kind, caring man.

I will sure miss Leonard he was a very kind gentleman. If I saw him I knew I was going to be smiling soon. He always had a way of lightening up the situation which in boiler-making is needed. I never knew he was a search and rescue or Red Cross but it makes sense. Cause he would find it easy to be in those types of situations and be calm. I’m going to miss him alright. God bless

Len was a friend of my fathers, and Was an super kind man! Even though my father and Len had somewhat drifted apart when they seen each other the always picked up where they left off. After my dad passed away Len was always checking in on me and my brother asking about our lives and if he could do anything. Truly cared about his friends children. That’s what I will remember most about Len. Rest In Peace buddy!

So very sorry for your loss. Len had compassion with a true sincerity. I was on the Blackfalds Search and Rescue Team with Leonard, and during a team building exercise he coached and encouraged me as I took baby steps 30 feet in the air, we wore safety harnesses while crossing a tight wire. When we used to chat in later years, he talked of how proud he was of his daughters, and for Elaine and her accomplishments and career. Leonard 100% a community minded person and no nonsense. I will miss our conversations ❣️

I am so sorry to hear of Leonard's passing my heart goes out to you he was a wonderful man his visits to the library always brightened my day

Please accept our heartfelt condolences. We remember our friend with great fondness. He was a great guy and always willing to help others. Sincerely Kevin and Nancy
