Messages:

We meet Paul at Paddy and Garry's in Arizona a few years ago, and really enjoyed being around him. The first thing we noticed was there never seemed to be a generation gap with him. You had to hear Paul, not just listen. When you heard him, you left a wiser person. Sometimes he would only say 20 words at a gathering... 18 were deeply meaningful and the other 2 were usually just damn funny! Our sympathies to you both Paddy & Garry and to your whole family.

Paddy, Garry & family...can't tell you how sorry I was to hear about your dad passing away. A person is never old enough to be without their parents. I know you mom was probably happy to see him. I wonder if he asked her why short people are so bossy. He was an awesome man & always made me smile. He gave Finn his first job when he quit school & showed up at the Shell. A good thing as Finn's dad was there as well. Loved & his big smile. Know we are thinking about you & yours & sending BIG hugs to all of you. Love Kathy & Finn oxox

Paddy,Gary & family , To have known Paul was a honour and a pleasure a more solid, wise and thoughtfull guy we have yet to meet .Our visit to see you all in 2019 will be remembered with the love and laughter we shared with Paul and your family ...xxx

Dear Paddy and Family, I remember your Dad as a gentle giant - he was very handsome, and drove the biggest car ever - well it was the 70's! He was such a kind man, and I know you will miss him and all of the times you spent together. Our parents are such an important of our lives, and you were lucky to have him enrich yours. I hope the strength of your family gets you through the next few months - memories are wonderful, but not the man. He lived a good life, that is for sure. Sending all of you love. Thinking of that sauna Paul built on the mobile home in Coronation - we had some good times! Love Denise Kneteman xo

Paddy, Garry and extended family, I have been thinking of your father, Uncle Paul, over this time of lock down and restricted visits. My heart is heavy to hear the news. To loose a loved one is always a difficult time and experience. My thoughts and condolences to you and your family with Uncle Paul's passing. I will carry fond memories of seeing your dad in Red Deer last summer and sharing and reminiscing about family. And I shall follow, and live, some of the wisdom he shared with me from my visit. Cousin Barry
