With sad hearts, we announce Ed’s peaceful passing on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at the age of 56 years. He will be forever missed by his wife, Joan (nee: Walker); his dog lady; and his sister, Janet (nee: Bell) Griffith (Ron). He will be greatly missed by numerous cousins and friends. Ed was predeceased by his father, Frederick; his mother, Doris; and his brother, Graham. “You’re gone now… Gone but not forgotten. No, this is not goodbye… I know I’ll see you again!” In respect of Ed’s wishes, a Prayer Service at Kuusamo Cemetery will take place Thursday, August 29, 2019 at 11:00am. A Celebration of Ed’s Life will take place on Remembrance Day, November 11, 2019. A special heart-felt thanks to Tammy, Chirstina, Grace and all other angels at Villa Marie for looking after Ed so well. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 200-325 Manning Road NE, Calgary, AB T2E 2P5.
