Sally and Demetrius were married in July 1958 and lived together until her death 61 years later. Sally was the “Rock of Gibraltar” of the family and tried to remain active until the very end of her life. Sally will be sorely missed.

Messages:

Deme, Ann and I were saddened to hear of Sally's passing. We send our deepest sympathy to you and your family. Ron

Deme my friend, Carolynn and Victoria and I wish to express our deepest condolences to you and your family. It was easy to tell just how much Sally meant to you. If there is anything we can do, please let us know.

Deme and family. I am sorry to hear of Sally's passing. I enjoyed visiting with her at the hospital when she was there last year and at your home. She was always upbeat and positive. I am sorry for your loss.

Sally was the first of the Brown children and in so many ways, the best of the litter. She was kind, generous to a fault and always a ‘safe’ person to share one’s challenges with. Cheerful and optimistic by nature she was also practical and sound. She also had a great sense of humour- an invaluable tool in life’s tool kit for survival. Like our father, she also had a real temper, but never for long and most of the time with respect to her younger brothers, was provoked. So, the Brown lineage will be diminished by one, but I think the most important one. Thanks Sally for being such a great sister in my early years. Your youngest brother Bill

Dear Dema, Peter and Colette, I am so sorry to hear of Sally's passing after such a long life lived fully. I will sure miss her joyous smile every time we met at Country Meadows or at your home. I am praying for you and am sorry for your loss.
