Barbara Yvonne Seaman

It is with a heavy heart to announce Barbara Yvonne Seaman peacefully passed away in Trail, BC on Saturday, May 28th at the age of 85. She was predeceased by her husband Robert Seaman, son Dean Seaman, and mother Lorretta Wiley. Yvonne is survived by her long-time partner Tom Harry, her son Warren Seaman (wife Chris), daughter Dana Seaman, grandchildren; Alyssa and Kristen Seaman (Dean), Austin and Colton Seaman (Warren), Jordan Seaman (Dana) and great-grandson Declan Seaman (Alyssa).

Big thank you to the nurses and support staff at the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital for all the care and attention.

As an expression of sympathy, donations in Yvonne’s name may be made to the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital Health Foundation (Medical Unit) at 1200 Hospital Bench, Trail, BC  V1R 4M1 or online at

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 3, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #11 in Trail. Bill Clark of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services™ has been entrusted with arrangements.

Dana and Warren was so sad to hear of Mom's passing. I will always treasure the many memories of our camping days at Evans, trip to Disneyland and so many other times we spent together. Mom was always ready to have fun and share a laugh. You are in my thoughts. Ellie

Eighty years of friendship gone but not forgotten. Many many fond memories of laughter, camping, holidays, picketing, enjoyment and fun. She will be forever missed.
