Frances Ritson

Frances (Cecconi) Ritson was born to Riccardo and Clorinda (Poli) Cecconi on February 11, 1939.

She moved to Kinnaird village in 1952 and started school at the newly built Stanley Humphrey's. Upon graduation, Frances worked for Dr's Yule and Fowler as a secretary then at the newly built Castlegar Hospital. Frances then left for a while to live in Vancouver and then, upon returning, went to work for Castlegar Town Hall. She then met her husband George when he was working on the construction of the High Arrow Dam.

Frances and George had two children Steven and Allison of which she was devoted. 

Left to mourn are George, Steven, Allison (Doug Chernoff, grandson Julian, her sister Florence Kravski and family, as well as her best friend Diana McLeod.

Dear Mr. Ritson, Steven, Alison and Family, I want to wish you all my Sincerest condolences and Heartfelt sympathies in the passing of your Beloved Wife & Mom. Just know the Angels in Heaven trumpeted her return Home and she is now reunited with her Family and Friends who have gone before her. I used to babysit Steven and Alison back in the early 80s when you were children and I delivered your Province newspaper. Hugs to you all and Prayers sent to Heaven
