Shirley Lorraine Jeppesen

February 14th, 2021

It is with great sadness that the family of Shirley Lorraine Jeppesen announce her passing. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She passed away with her family by her side on February 14, 2021 at the age of 89 years.

Shirley will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of 62 years, Per; her children: Scott, Lisa, Tim and Mark; sister Nolene; as well as her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She loved baking for her family and friends. Shirley welcomed visitors and always had a fresh batch of gingersnaps ready in the kitchen. Her sweet, gentle and kind soul will forever be in our hearts.

We were saddened to hear of the passing of Shirley, both Gill & I have fond memories of her, always kind and generous with a big heart, a lovely lady. Some of my earliest memories of visits to Canada were at Shirley & Per's home and were lucky enough to meet up again just a few years back. Our condolences & love to Per and the family

I was saddened to hear of Shirley's passing. She was one of the most generous, kind and gentle souls I have known. She always welcomed me and my parents when we visited, and my brother and his wife so enjoyed the time they spent with her and Per at the Blackwell family reunion. I send my deepest condolences to Per and their family.

We have so many fond memories of Shirley — we are grateful she is still with us in those memories. Our love goes out to all the family. We are thinking of you all and sending you comfort.

We were saddened to hear about the passing of Shirl. Her gentle calmness and generosity will always provide us with warm memories. We were so fortunate to see her about eighteen months ago and to have kept in touch over the years. Our condolences go to Per and the families of Scott, Lisa, Tim and Mark at this sad time.

We are so sorry to hear of Shirley’ passing. Our love and thoughts are with you all at this sad time. Our family visit to Shirley and Per’s home was many years ago but we still hold fond memories of that time.

We send our love to you all on Shirley's passing. We were made so welcome when we visited and although we only met a few times, Shirley was well known to us through the tales my Mum, Dolly Shepstone, used to fondly tell us and Mum always knew a good one when she met one. Our condolences to the family at this sad time.
