Messages:

I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear of Susan’s passing. Friends for over thirty years, Susan was a true friend, a great spirit and always so much fun. I am thankful for our lovely, lovely visit last July but never imagined that it would be the last. I am honoured to have been her friend and will forever cherish our friendship. Peter and family please accept our condolences.

Peter and family - I am so sorry for your loss. Susan was so positive and such fun to be around. She livened up the room when she walked in. She was a great help to my Dad at the church. I have very fond memories of her when I lived in Winnipeg and I know that she will be greatly missed. My sincere condolences.

My cousin Sally Taylor in California said it beautifully (above). Susan was married to my cousin Pete & she was a gift he gave the Dalton clan. I have only positive thoughts & memories of Susan, which is what we should all wish to leave on this earth. It is obvious from what I am reading here that she was special to many people. I am blessed to have known Susan & this is a loss for all of us but as I believe Susan would want, I will focus on the happiness, kindness, laughter & love she gave us & this world.

Susan was my dear friend since university - thoughtful, kind, and intelligent. I will cherish the many times spent together and our phone conversations full of giggles. She holds a special place in my heart. Susan often told me how much she loved Peter, Taylor (Ryan), granddaughter Sophie, and Graham (Kristianna). Sharing in your sorrow with friendship and much love.

Our sincerest sympathy to all the family for your sad loss. Susan had a lovely voice and we enjoyed her singing in St. Andrews often.

Susan was my sister for over forty years. She always brought happiness with her, a rare grace. She brought happiness of kindness, understanding, humor, humility, and especially love for sharing times together. Her memory will be celebrated at all times, especially when we gather as a family, and for Sophie to know her, and for us to remember how much love she gave us.

I cannot remember a time when Susan was not my sister Ann's friend. Her warmth, and humor was wonderful. My thoughts, prayers and condolences to Peter, Taylor, Graham and their families. She will be sorely missed.

My heart plummeted when I heard the news! I'm so sorry Peter, Taylor & Graham & families. Susan was a special cousin. We reconnected several years ago & I enjoyed our phone chats since.
