Susan Westmacott

February 15th, 1958 ~ November 4th, 2021

Susan Westmacott; Born February 15th, 1958, dearly departed November 4th, 2021. Susan was 63 years old, survived by her only daughter, Noelle Van Vliet, and her three grandchildren; Aurora, Beau, and August Van Vliet, her dear cousin Angela Westmacott, Cheryl Westmacott, her brother Rick Westmacott and his children; Christopher, Breanna, and Thomas Westmacott.

Dear family and friends, as many of you know my mum, Susan Westmacott, has been very ill. She suffered a large stroke on October 11th, with complications.

It is with great sorrow that I share with you of her passing on November 4th at 4:06pm. My husband and I were by her side holding her hands the entire time. She passed peacefully, without pain, surrounded with love.

Mum’s greatest love was her family. Her grandchildren were her joy. She was an incredibly kind, compassionate, and vibrant person. Her love was felt by everyone who knew her. Her gift for music and singing was her lifelong passion.

Dearest mum: You will be missed more than words can say. I know that you are with God now, surrounded with his love and ours forever and always.  You were my best friend. It was just me and you for so many years. Peace and love be with you always. We will always keep you in our prayers, as we know you will keep us in yours.

Messages:

I had the pleasure of singing a few duets with this beautiful lady. She made me feel special all the time. I miss her dearly.

I'm sorry for your loss. Susan and I did so many musical events together. Truly an artistic temperament and a wonderful singer. Rest in peace, dear Susan

Susan we spent many times talking on the phone or going to each other on our scooters. We laughed together we cried together. I recently suffered the loss of my parents family drama and she was there for me. I love you like a sister that I will miss you Take good care of her oh Lord love you forever Marianne

My heart goes out to all who loved Sue. It gives me great comfort to know that in her last moments on Earth she was surrounded by loved ones. The world is a poorer place without her and she leaves behind a big hole in my heart, but I do look forward to seeing her again someday.
