Zita A Longhurst

Zita A Longhurst passed peacefully on April2, 2021 at Langley Memorial Hospice. She was a beloved mother of five children and their families. Eldest daughter Zita( Blaise, Chase), Aileen (Roy, Bradley, Brandon), James (Barb, Clayton, Ellissa), Michael (Diana, Avery, Kaleigh) and Maureen (Kevin, Joshua, Erin, Ava). Zita is survived by brothers Hugh and George.
She was a woman of caring and generosity even in her death by giving two people the gift of sight as her final act.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the Langley Hospice Society at langleyhospice.com

I am so very sorry. I always liked your mother. I fondly remember our trip out to your parents place in 1979. We had such a great time. Deric hung around with James. Jason was 5 and played a lot with Michael. Maureen enjoyed playing mother hen to our 2 yr old, Matthew. Fond memories for sure. Sending love, blessings and sincere condolences.

I am sorry to hear of your mom’s passing a while back. I played euchre with her and we visited each other. She was a great friend and a lot of fun.
