Reynaldo Felipe Juliano

April 18, 1946 – April 30, 2022

Love is patient, love is kind. It is not jealous, is not pompous, it is not inflated, it is not rude, it does not seek its own interests, it is not quick-tempered, it does not rejoice over wrongdoing but rejoices with the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 1Corinthians 13:4-7

Rene passed away peacefully on April 30, 2022, at the age of 76. He was predeceased by his parents Perfecto and Leonarda Felipe, Godofredo and Felicisima Juliano, and brother, Edgardo Felipe.

Rene is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Elizabeth, his brother Ruben (Rebecca), sister Lilia (George) and sister- in- law Mila. He will be greatly missed by his children Tess (Henry), Michael (Marichu), and Ruth (Nathaniel), grandchildren Paul, Lauren, Keanu, Kate, Raphael, Alex, Angelo, Luke, Ryan, Andrew and many extended family and friends.

Rene was born in Marilao, Bulacan, Philippines. He immigrated to Canada in 1988 and worked in Manila Express until his retirement.

The family wishes to extend their deep gratitude to the many specialist doctors, nurses, pharmacists, social workers, rehabilitation staff, technicians, clerks, and volunteers of Vancouver General Hospital and Windermere Care Center. We will remember your compassion, competence, loving support, and treating Rene with dignity and respect.
