Bernard “Bernie” Pruden of Crossfield, AB passed away peacefully at the Didsbury Health Care Facility on Thursday, March 25, 2021. Bernie is lovingly remembered by his children, Max Pruden, Deborah (Roly) Taylor, Neil Pruden (Margot), Brian Pruden, and Annette Pruden; 13 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Bernie was predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Ione; daughter, Diane; as well as his 11 siblings. As per his wishes no Memorial Service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Acute Care Unit of the Didsbury Hospital PO Box 962, Didsbury, AB, T0M 0W0.

Bernie always had a smile, time to say hi & a story (if you had time to listen) & seemed to be able to see the positive in things. He will be missed.
Deepest Condolences to all of his family and close friends. I live in the condo where Bernie lived and he was always sitting at his window to the East and Railway Ave. waving and always a friendly Hello and a chat! I had noticed he has not been at his usual spot. He was a bright spot at the Arches and will be greatly missed. Bernie and I had many conversations and found we knew many of the same people. During the town construction last year, Bernie took a chair and parked himself on the West side of the building so he could still have his "social" time. Love and hugs to all of you! <3.
I will miss bernie and his stories, we had some fun times. he always had an answer to any question. remember the good times of your dad , and granddad. rossco
