Katherine Wilma (Cinnamon) Moreau born in Carnduff, SK passed away in Calgary, AB on Wednesday, November 10, 2021. Wilma met her beloved husband Fred in Montreal. They married in 1970 and settled in California until Fred’s passing six years later. She remained in California until 2016 when she returned to Canada to be closer to her siblings and her numerous nieces and nephews.  

Wilma was incredibly hardworking receiving several accolades during her nursing career which started in Canada and continued while living in the US. After retiring from her nursing career she spent many years translating Braille.

The friends she made over the years in California were like family to her. She loved getting together for theatre, dinner, golf, and visits. She was adventurous, enjoyed traveling, was an incredible golfer as well as a very talented artist. 

Wilma leaves behind her daughter, Roma (Doug) Bowles in Oregon; her brother, Ken; sister, Jessie; sisters-in-law, Lois and Ulla; many nieces and nephews and extended family as well as dear friends on both sides of the border.

She was predeceased by her husband, Fred; her parents, Roy and Janet; siblings, Jim (Marie), Muriel (Ray) Horner, Dorothy (Russel) Fitzpatrick, Alan, Bob; and brother-in-law, Al Plews.
