Quinn Nicole Kerber

September 22nd, 2020

It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of our sweet daughter Quinn. Quinn Kerber passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 in the arms of her mom and dad. Quinn was born March 26, 2015 to loving parents, Amie and Matthias Kerber, in Red Deer, Alberta. Quinn enjoyed playing Barbies, playing store and restaurant, reading books, painting, and swinging outside with her little sister. Her favourite hobby was dance. She was in her third year of dance classes, taking jazz, tap, and ballet, all of them being her favorite. She was always excited to go to the dance studio, and was even awarded Dancer of the Month in September, 2020. Quinn loved animals, and she could usually be found cuddling with a dog or her cat on the couch when she wasn’t busy playing. Quinn was sensitive, kind, loving, and always tried her best. She easily made friends, and loved spending time with her special friends, Aiden and Remi. Quinn’s best friend, and trusty sidekick, was always her sister, Ivy. They rarely fought, they told each other daily that they were each other’s best friend, and often would cuddle and play games on their iPads together.

Quinn is lovingly remembered by her parents, Amie and Matthias; sister, Ivy; papa, Ken; and a host of family and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at on Wednesday, October 14 at 11:00 am. Due to COVID restrictions, the Celebration will also be streamed live https://tinyurl.com/y2b27576. Quinn’s family asks that you wear a fun skirt or dress, or bright colours on this day to celebrate the light Quinn brought to so many. In lieu of flowers, Quinn’s family asks that donations be made to the Quinn Kerber Memorial Fund, through the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation, at https://tinyurl.com/yxwkd8p6.
