Messages:

Ruscel and Family Very sorry for your loss, this year has been very hard for you and yours. Although i did not know Stacy very well, he will be missed in our neighbourhood. Jack

So sorry to hear of Stacy's passing. He will be missed by all. Although we didn't have many get-togethers over the years, we really appreciated the regular updates in the form of cards and letters sent to us by Ruscel and Stacy. His death brings back thoughts of Stacy's wonderful mother, Pearl, who was also taken from us at a much too young age. We will be attending Stacy's remembrance on Wednesday. Uncle Lorne, Aunt Marion (not able to attend are cousins, Leanne Dirksen and Craig Ellestad)

Russel.. I am so sorry to hear about Stacey's passing..fond memories of you both at TD Bank God Bless you and your family

Ruscel, We were so sorry to hear of Stacey's passing. We have very fond memories of our visits with you and Stacey in Airdrie and think of you often. Please accept our deepest condolences. Unfortunately we won't be able to attend Stacey's celebration of life, but know that you and your family are in our thoughts and in our hearts. Love Terry & Cathy

There was something life-affirming about the way Stacy radiated kindness and generosity and devotion. When the big Ellestad family was together in 2015, I was so grateful to him for his energy and spirit, and to have had the chance to toss the ball with him and his kids; just like in the old days in Red Deer. We are so sorry for the pain of his loss in your family. I hope his light will help to guide all of you as you move through grief and into healing. With our love, Mark and Leslie Ellestad and family

So sorry to learn about your father’s struggles this past year Pearl. My sympathy to you, your Mom and brothers.

Sorry for the loss of my cousin

We were so saddened to hear of Stacy’s illness and his struggles this past year. It is so hard to watch the ones we love lose their battle. Try to cherish the good memories. He will remain in your hearts forever. Donna (Bun), Anita (Neat) and Lane (Alayne) Neat and Lane are not on Facebook but I will forward them the obituary. Unfortunately none of us will be able to attend the celebration of life but we will be there in spirit.

Dear Ruscel, it's so sad to lose one of our family, especially so young. Our deepest sympathies to you and your children and grandchildren, and Stacy's brother's Larry and Scott and their families for your loss. Love Jeff and Yanling Calgary
