Shane William MacKenzie

Shane was born in Lethbridge, to his loving parents, Dave and Norma Mackenzie. They later moved to Airdrie with his brothers David and Kevin.

Shane was a very proud, loyal, loving family man.  It was in Airdrie, where he first met his wife Corry, at the age of 12.  They raised their two children Justin and Melissa in Calgary and was also greatly loved by his two grandsons, Noah and Carter.  

He was a very hard working and respected man.  Taking after his Dad, Shane spent most of his Career as a sub-contractor for KBM Commercial Floor Coverings., where he made many friends along the way. Shane was always happiest spending time with his family.  Loved the outdoors, camping, and taking long drives through the mountains.  It was in Jasper, where he spotted his first Grizzly Bear and his love and fascination of bears began.  Shane was a lovable, fun, friendly, loud and all around, great man to be around.  He was a simple man who preferred jeans over a suit any day, a bologna sandwich over a steak, and his love of loud music and his hair never changed.  His presence filled every room he entered and will be forever, and deeply missed by his family, friends, and co-workers.
