Johanna "Joyce" Dokter

On December 25th, 2019 Joyce Dokter passed away in the presence of family at the Didsbury hospital long term care unit. She was born June 5th, 1938 in Steenwijk Netherlands. Joyce immigrated to Canada in 1956. Joyce was married to Jan Dokter for 62 years. A Celebration of Life will be held on January 11, 2020 at the Carstairs Half Century Club, 1139 Osler St. from 1:00 to 5:00 pm with a formal service at 2:00 PM. The family wishes to express a huge thank you to Didsbury Long Term Care for the wonderful care they showed Joyce over the years. In lieu of flowers donation’s in Joyce’s memory may be made to Didsbury Long Term Care, c/o Rosebud Health Foundation, 1210 – 20th Ave,PO Bag 130, Didsbury, AB T0M 0W0.
