Kenneth C. Doherty

Ken passed away peacefully at the age of 79.  He was a loving husband and father of four children. Ken is lovingly remembered by his wife, Margaret; daughter, Kari (Lorne);  son, Bob (Michelle); son, Steve; daughter, Leanne; ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren.  He pursued a career in Information Services first in the oil industry and later the food industry.  He participated in many sports over the years and also enjoyed travel and spending time wth his grandchildren.  

For family and those who wish to pay their respects a visitation will be held at Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services, 12 East Lake Way NE, Airdrie, AB on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 10:00 AM, with a Graveside Service to follow at 11:00 AM. A Celebration of Life will be held at DayBreak Community Church, 2104 Yankee Valley Blvd., Airdrie, AB on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 1:30 PM.

We wish to thank the staff at Airdrie Homecare and Dulcina Hospice for their excellent care.

My thoughts and prayers are with Marg and family. It was very sad news of the passing of Ken. We had many years working together in the I.T. field. We worked hard and we had fun! Ken was a nice person I'll never forget.
