October 30th, 2017

ISAAC, Stephen Allen John

It is with great sadness that the family of Stephen Allen John Isaac announces his sudden passing on Monday, October 30, 2017, at the age of 70. Steve was born and raised in Victoria, BC, graduated St. Louis College in 1965, after which he started a career with the Federal Government, commencing with the DND and retiring with the RCMP as a radio dispatcher / 911 operator. Steve enjoyed the outdoors, collecting, and loved watching hockey and wrestling. His big smile, larger than life personality, and quirky sense of humour will be greatly missed.

Steve will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 47 years, Susan; his children, Julie (Jeremy) and Mike (Bridget); beloved grandsons Sawyer and Axetyn; brother, David; and many relatives, in-laws and dear friends. Steve was predeceased by his mother, Margaret; father, John and stepmother, Alda.

A Celebration of Stephen’s Life will be held at the Town and Country Centre, #103 - 275 Jenson Drive NE, Airdrie, AB on Friday, November 10, 2017 at 1:00 PM. Those who so desire, may make donations in memory of Steve to the charity of their choice.

You’re leaving a hole too great to fill, miss you forever.

Messages:

My deepest condolences to Steve's family on his passing. Steve was an esteemed member of our St. Louis College Class of '65 (The School of hard knocks). Steve's passing diminishes us all...IN PACE REQUIESCAT. Vic Simeoni

To Sue and family..........very sorry to hear of Steve's passing. Though the St Louis College days are long in the past (and the building now demolished), I have memories of Steve and I gathering with others in little groups to chat in the yard at lunchtime, sharing stories and jokes. All challenges of the Catholic school system aside, Steve was one of us, and he'll be remembered as a friend. ....................... Mike (Class of '65)
