It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Doreen Fenton on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at the age of 86. Doreen will be lovingly remembered by her children, Linda (Lyle) Short, Garry (Rose) Fenton, Sandy (Lyle) Dietrich, Doug (Barb) Fenton and Bob Fenton; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; siblings, Robert (Mary), Calvin and Mel (Elaine); as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Ken and sister-in-law, Elaine.
A Memorial Service will be held at Airdrie United Church, 212 – 1 Avenue NE, Airdrie, AB on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Doreen’s memory to the Airdrie & District Victim’s Assistance Society, 2 Highland Park Way NE, Airdrie, AB, T4A 2L5.

Dear Linda, Lyle, Sandy, Lyle and family, We were so very sorry to hear of the passing of your dear mother. She was a very special lady and we always enjoyed seeing her. We shall especially remember our fun times camping in such places as Mt Kidd and Idaho. Our sincere condolences to you and all your family. We know you will miss her dearly. We are so sorry for the loss of your beautiful mom. Her amazing spirit will live on though her wonderful families memories.
