Leo Bowes

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Leo Bowes on February 28,2019 at Delta Hospital.  

Leo was born in 1930 in Saint John New Brunswick.  He was predeceased by his wife Irene and survived by his seven children, Michael (Maureen), Joanne, Rosanne, Dan (Valerie), Chris, Jim (Anita), Pat (Henny), his 13 grandchildren and his 8 great grandchildren.  

A private family celebration of life will be held at a future date.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Leo.

So sorry to hear of Leo’s passing, he was a beautiful wonderful man & my sister Maureen Bowes adored him. He was extremely intelligent, interesting, kind & soft spoken. Maureen married into a wonderful family when she married Mike, all will miss him terribly, RIP Leo, sincere condolences to the large extended family

My deepest sympathy to all of uncle Leo's family it so sad to lose a parent and all of us Bowes kin have over the years. This is Bob Bowes son. RIP Leo.

Sorry to here of Leo's passing. I have good memories of Leo in the south end and Loch lomond and Fredericton. Leo was only seven years older than me and for a year we were in the same school. when we meet he would call me skipper. Our prayers are for him and your family. Edmund

I remember uncle Leo at Mom and Dads house on Winslow street and his impressive stature and way about him. I would like to send our warmest thoughts and condolences to his family and loved ones. Mom and Dad thought the world of him and his family, he will be fondly remembered.

Sad to hear of uncle Leo,s passing I have fond memories of him in Loch Lomand when I was a child I also remember how he chaired for his mom.My prayers and thoughts are with all of my cousins at this time of grief God bless Bob and Dorie

I’m so grateful to have known Leo and to have become a part of his beautiful family. He will always be in my thoughts as I spend time in the garden. Chris and I send all our love to the Bowes family.
