Carol Christine Lane

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our mother, Carol Christine Lane, on December 28th, 2022, at the age of 70. Carol was born in Armstrong, BC in 1952. Throughout her life, she lived in Armstrong, Vernon, Calgary, Vancouver Island and most recently in the Lower Mainland with her daughter and family.
Carol is survived by her son Drew Kassa (Francesca), daughter Danielle Bains (Ranbir), grandson Roman, her mother Marjorie Lane, sister Diane Lane and brother Randy Lane. She is predeceased by her brother Thomas Lane, father Edward Lane and nephew Scott Gammack.
Carol was retired and had careers in Insurance and Real Estate, She enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandson. She enjoyed reading, cooking, gardening and collecting antiques.
Carol will be laid to rest in Armstrong at a private family service at a later date.

It was with profound sadness that I learned of Carol’s passing. Carol was a good friend to many and fortunately to me. I sincerely hope the Lane family finds peace at this very difficult and sad time. My most sincere condolences God bless David Fletcher
