Alternatives Funeral & Cremation Services® is not licensed to operate in the Province of Alberta at this time.
Alternatives Funeral & Cremation Services® has operated in Alberta for over 25 years. Recently, the Franchisee in Alberta has, without any legal basis, abandoned its current Franchise Agreement and has chosen to carry on operating under a name other than Alternatives Funeral & Cremation Services®.
The Franchisor maintains that the abandonment and multiple other breaches are not valid and accordingly has filed a lawsuit against the Franchisees, Diann Rowat, Personal Community Services Inc., David Bolduc and Dyce Bolduc. This lawsuit is before the Court of King's Bench in Alberta.

With a Direct Cremation, there are no formal ceremonies. The cremated remains and death certificates are returned in person to the family. If you wish, you can still select many of our other services such as visitations, obituaries, or extra death certificates. More
