Messages:

It is with our deepest sympathies today that we share in the loss of cousin Shirley. Our condolences to carol, Donna and all of Shirley's children and grandchildren. She was always so much fun when we got together in the 'old days'. I loved her smile and her laughter was contagious

I am honored and blessed to have known Shirley. She was a dear friend. We worked together when I lived in Vancouver and we kept in touch over the years after I moved away. I remember her deep faith and a mother who loved her children dearly. My deepest sympathies go out to you and your family. May God give you the peace that you seek.

Shirley I am blessed to have known you. You are a generous, kind, and forgiving soul. You have made so many sacrifices in your life, taking very little for yourself. Rest in peace for you are now with the angels. I will miss our regular lunches together. My deepest sympathies to the family.

Shirley you will be missed by all that knew you. I will miss your always bright smile, your eternal optimism, your generosity, hospitality and your indomitable spirit. I will always remember fondly the countless dinners and breakfasts you cooked for me as a kid, and the way you always made me feel welcome in your house. May you rest in peace.

A strong woman stood among us. Our condolences to Shirley's family, Craig and Charmaine, Karen and Tony, Kenton, and grandchildren. Donna and Norm, Carol and Ed, Ruby, many nieces and nephews, and numerous friends. Through our mutual love for books, Shirley and I spent many hours browsing through second hand book stores. Shirley was kind, loving, funny and courageous with whatever faced her. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.

Now you're with the angels, you been welcomed into Heaven by Jesus may you now rest in peace

Mom I am glad we got to spend your last hours together. At the end we came to a place of understanding and forgiveness. I wished we would’ve had more time together. I love you. Karen

Please accept our condolences on the passing of Aunt Shirley, it was an honour to have known such a great, fun and caring person. We will remember her, Brent and family

Dear Family: I am so sorry we have lost Shirley. I always appreciated her love and concern for my parents, her (and your’s) Uncle Gordon and Aunt Donna. She visited them regularly in their last years, through their many hospitalization and illnesses, showing amazing loyalty and kindness. She had a strong love for all her family and that will be truly missed by all of us.

Dear Donna and Carol: I was so sorry to hear that your sister Shirley had passed away. Please accept my sincere sympathies. I was talking with Mary and remembering the many fun times I had with Shirley. She was such a joy in her younger days, happy, full of fun, and always with positive things to say when any of us were feeling down. She was with me on several of my "down days." I understand the last years were not easy for her and I know it must have been hard for you to watch. God Bless both of you and keep you in His care, Nan P.S. Please give my sympathies to her children.

Dear Carol/Ed, Donna/Norm and Shirley's children: We are so sad for your loss. We are thinking about you all. Remember only the good times. Fondly, Bernie and Mary

I'll miss my cousin very much. We were friends as well as relatives. I'll miss her boundless energy. We were both book lovers and spent many hours over the years browsing book stores together, going to movies and just spending time together. She was a loyal person and someone you could depend on. R.I.P. Shirley.
