Juergen Friedrich Neudoerffer

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Juergen Neudoerffer on August 21, 2019, at the age of 83. He fought a brave battle against cancer for almost 2 years. This did not stop him from living life to the utmost. Survived by his wife Norma of 56 years, his daughter Belinda (Brent Hayes), and his extended family.
Juergen carried an avid passion for plants and flowers, which lead him to graduate from the Niagara School of Horticulture. He spent many years working in the retail sector, advising both beginner and well seasoned gardeners. When at home, you could find him in his garden. Juergen was an enthusiastic photographer from a young boy with a brownie camera, right up to the latest technology.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to either The Kidney Foundation of Canada or The Canadian Liver Foundation.

I am so sorry to hear of Juergen’s passing. Juergen was a kind, happy coworker and friend for many years. After I retired I used to stop in at the Langley store to say hello. I loved seeing his beautiful photos he posted on Facebook.

I only met Juergen this spring through photography but it was such a pleasure to do so. His kindness and gentleness touched me deeply. I regret that I didn’t get to know him better. He definitely will be missed by all those whose lives he touched. Sincere condolences to Norma and Belinda.
