Messages:

I was very saddened to hear of the passing of Marilyn. Many years ago we were colleagues at Marion Carson School. Marilyn was very knowledgeable when dealing with the children and their various problems. She was always very positive with a pleasant temperament which endeared her to everyone of the children with whom she worked! She was most proud of Bob’s poetry and writing! All of which was beautiful to read! With deepest sympathy to you Bob! Jan Kostyniuk

Bob, I am sincerely sorry to hear of Marilyn's passing. Wishing you comfort during this time in the many wonderful memories I know you have. Shanda

Bob, it is so hard to find word of comfort for you at this time. I know Marilyn was the center of your world, and there can be no balm for her loss. Just know that so many are here for you. I am thinking of you. Susan

Dear Bob: There are never adequate words of sympathy. Losing a partner is like no other loss. You and Marilyn had a good, long, happy marriage, and I hope that those 45 years support you as you move through your grieving. My heart goes out to you, Bob. Chris Horgan

Bob, We are very sorry to hear about Marilyn's passing. We will be in contact with you later.

To Bob and Elaine, My deepest sincere sympathy to both of you. Marilyn has had such a long hard struggle but you were both there for her with your constant support. May she now rest in peace always to be remembered for her humour and her courage. We will all miss her.

My deepest condolences to you Bob. Just know you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Bob, as you know, I know how you feel right now. When you are ready to put the pieces of you back together in their new shape, I will have the glue all set. Marilyn was your heart, your being. Hold her close. 'What we have once enjoyed we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes a part of us.' Helen Keller Hugs and tears, Kathi

My sincerest condolences to you at this difficult time, Bob. Sending Much Love. Mary Vlooswyk

I’m so sorry to see Marilyn go. Though I knew her mostly through her husband’s eyes, I could see she was full of love and a passion for life. She will be greatly missed.

My heart hurts for you, Bob, and to all who were close to Marilyn. My words can't help right now, but they send my deep sympathies to you and how I wish I could do more. As you have told me, and others in the past, be gentle with yourself. Many good people are wishing they could do more for you. I have no god to turn you towards but I wish you blessings and healing.

I am sad to hear that Marilyn has died. My sincere condolences. Mary Nelson.

Our deepest sympathies to the family.

Bob. We both miss Marilyn very much and are so sorry for your loss. Marilyn had a very tough go these past few years, and never lost her optimism. She was an example to us all. You have been a great champion and protector for her. We are glad she is not in pain any more. You will have many great memories of good times to keep her in your heart, and we also have many wonderful memories of our long friendship with you both . We are sure she is watching over you too. We will help you through this time in any and every way we can, Love Jan and Brian

We will miss you Marilyn, you could make us laugh and tell us stories. We fondly remember the days of our youth and camping in the mountains. Goodbye dear cousin and friend, you will live in our memories. Katherine and Gary Allwood
