August 29, 1947 – December 13, 2021

 

Barb passed away peacefully at home on Monday, December 13, 2021 with her husband, Daryl and daughters Cassie and Corrie (MacKenzie) by her side.

She is lovingly remembered by her sister, Heather (Aldon) Wells; sisters-in-law, Marilyn Greene and Lynn Bradley; grandchildren, Zac (Kelly) Bishop and Taya (Devon) Bishop; great-granddaughter, Blakely Bishop; cousin, Liz (Gordon) Rennie; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is pre-deceased by her parents, Tom Kirton and Johan Schlaht; sister, Jenny Allison; and brothers-in-law, Cliff Allison, Garry Greene, and Ed Bradley.

Barb was born and raised in High River and moved to Claresholm 1960 where she met and married Daryl in 1964. She enjoyed snowmobiling, quadding, camping, and traveling to Alaska, Yukon, the Maritimes, and Hawaii.

Barb worked for Townsend (Pharmasave) Drugs for 10 years and the Willow Creek Auxiliary Hospital for 18 years.

At Barb’s request, there will be no Funeral Service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to a charity of your choice.

So sorry to hear of Barbs passing. l went to school with her and had a ball in grade 12 especially. She will not be forgotten. To Daryl and family she will be remembered.

So sorry for you loss Barb has joined mom they are probably drinking there coffee and doing there Christmas baking one of the great memories I have is our new years day dinners with all the great friends
