It is with regret and sadness that we announce the passing of Gertie after her struggles over the past several years with breathing issues and dementia. She passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at the age of 92 years.
Gertie is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Diane (Glenn); and her sister, Margaret. She was predeceased by her husband, Russel. At Gertie’s request there will be no formal Funeral Service. We would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all of the staff at The Hamlets in Red Deer for their care and support.
