Glenn was born and raised on the family farm in Pakenham, ON before moving to Calgary in 1966. He worked in the automotive industry most of his life, mechanic to managing service stations. Known for his genuine interest in how you were doing and his good sense of humour, he will be sadly missed. He is survived by his daughter, Natalie; grandsons, Jay, Mathew and Robert; and nephews, Steve and Ted. Glenn loved animals, especially cats. In lieu of flowers, donations in Glenn’s memory may be made to an animal shelter or rescue group of your choice.

Messages:

We were shocked to hear this devastating news! We always cared for him even though we only saw him a few times over the years. We would run into each other shopping etc. and have a nice visit. Our condolences go to Natalie and family. Our thoughts and prayers are sent out to the rest of the family as well. It is sad we have so little contact with that part of the family. Love, Dave and Myrna Coghill

It is with deep regret we learn the passing of our friend and neighbour Glenn. We know of his love for cats as one time his big white persian disappeared for several weeks and low and behold if we didn't find him behind a cupboard in our garage where he/she had been for at least two weeks until we investigated further to where all the fur was coming from each morning. Then Glenn learned we had him he broke into tears knowing he would never get his beloved cat back at least not until I told him I had his cat. He was so relieved. That will be our memory of Glenn. We did some work for him and he used to supply us with the five gallon pails knowing we were in the business where we could use them. We were devastated when we heard of his passing. Our sympathy goes out to you, his family. Sincerely Jim and Jolaine
