Forrest F. (Woody) Plume

September 21, 1939 – July 9, 2019

It is with sadness we announce the passing of Forrest F. (Woody) Plume at the age of 79 years after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Marilyn; son, Brent Plume (Kourtnee); daughter, Michelle Marshall (Ryan) and granddaughter, Meah Plume (the apple of his eye); brother, Wayne Plume (Fredericton, NB), and many nieces and nephews. Woody served his country for 12 years with the Canadian Air Force after which he was employed with Telus for 30 years. Woody was an avid sports person; fishing was his favourite sport.  As per Woody’s request, there will be no Funeral or Memorial Service. The family would like to express our sincere thanks to the doctors, nurses, relatives and friends that supported us through this long ordeal. Anyone wishing to donate in his memory can do so to a charity of their choice or the Alzheimer’s Society of Alberta, 800, 7015 Macleod Trail SW, Calgary, AB T2H 2K6.

Oh Marilyn and Family: I am totally shocked and so sorry for your loss. He was a good man and you all will miss him I am sure and especially your sweet granddaughter. We have had some troubles here Danny had major surgery and I will write you to tell you what is going on. Also interested in what you are doing and how you are doing with the big C. Shocking to realize how old we all are and that Woody didn't survive very long. Bless him and all of you. Love to all and we'll be in touch soon. Send your phone # and I will call you very soon. Evangeline xo Take care

Thank you Woody for being so kind and friendly when I first entered the business. I always deeply appreciated how easy you were to get along with and how you were always there to guide me in the right direction. I always enjoyed our meetings together and I always enjoyed your enthusiasm for life. I will miss you very much. Toby.

Since Woody's neice Jill is my wife, I had the good fortune; and pleasure; of spending some time with him, and his wife Marilyn. The world could use more people like Woody. His absence will be felt, but he can't be forgotten.

Dear Marilyn and Family Both Ken and I would like to express our most sincere heart-felt sympathy and condolences on the loss of Woody. We feel most fortunate in having crossed paths with Woody and yourself over many years. We remember Woody always having a ready smile for everyone and easy laugh.
