Jessica Christine Logan

Our beautiful, wonderful, amazing Jessica passed away unexpectedly on March 24, 2022. She was only 33 years old with so much of life in front of her, taken away far too soon.

Jessica loved many things in life – her family and friends of course – but topping the list was her delightful little two-year old Morkie puppy, Belle, to whom she was devoted.  Jessica was passionate about animals, knew everything about them, couldn’t wait to have her own dog and couldn’t resist adoring everyone else’s pets along the way.  She visited the Mountain Gorillas in Rwanda, endless animals in Kenya and Tanzania and couldn’t pass a zoo, aquarium or animal sanctuary without stopping in.  She was so looking forward to another safari post-COVID.

Jessica loved all things Disney, and one of her favourite places in the world was Disneyland. Her siblings will tell you that no one could see and do as much in a day at Disneyland as Jessica and she spent many happy days and weeks there enjoying everything about it.

Jessica was born in Surrey, BC, grew up in West Vancouver, BC and lived in her own beautiful apartment in downtown Vancouver.  She loved the West End, loved walks with Belle along the seawall and through Stanley Park, and loved sharing everything the city has to offer with the special people in her life.

She graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Art History – another love of hers.  She visited art galleries and museums in many places in the world and still had many more on her list to see in the future.

Jessica leaves behind lots of people who loved her so much – her mom, Lena, her dad, Jim, her brother, Ryan, her stepsister, Anne, her stepmom, Bev, her boyfriend, Lucky, and her grandmother, Abbie as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.  Jessica held a special place in her heart for the great friends she made during the many years she worked at Troll’s Restaurant, especially her dear friend Holly.

We will miss our sweet, sweet angel until the end of time.

In lieu of flowers, donations to an animal-related organization of your choice would honour Jessica best.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Messages:

I am so sorry to hear that Jessica passed away. I didn’t even know she passed away, until recently. I went to Cap with Jessica and we were in French class together. She was a fun person to hang around with! Condolences to Jessica’s family and loved ones. Heaven gained another shining star. You’ll be missed Jess!

I’ll always remember & cherish the moments and memories I have with Jess. She was the sister I never had and was such a huge part of my life for over a decade, an instant friendship that I’ll always remember. Some of the memories I’ll always remember like it’s yesterday is dancing around singing to backstreet boys, embarrassing ourselves with our not so on key voices. Jessica and I also shared a love for Disneyland. We took a trip to Disneyland together and created memories to last a life time. Although we were in our 20’s we acted like little kids running to every ride, collecting all signatures of Disney characters & going to the Mickey and Minnie Mouse breakfast. I have so many more memories with Jess but these are two that are just still so vivid like they were yesterday. My condolences to all Jessica’s loved ones and all those who lost a wonderful woman in their lives. You will always be in my heart and memories sis xoxo

I wish you rest in peace jess. if life would have given a chance would have loved to talk again.

My beautiful, wonderful daughter. I miss you terribly and am lost without you. My heart will never feel whole again. Love you always and miss you till the end of time. "To infinity and beyond" With so much love, Mommy xoxo Thank you to all of our wonderful family and friends for their loving support during this trying time in our lives. Lena & Ryan

My dear sweet friend I will miss you forever

We miss her more than words can say. Jessica was the star in the room. We are grateful for the time we had with her. I agree with Ryan and Anne about a visit to Disneyland. I swear that Lena and I were force marched from dawn to dusk. Missing a single attraction was not a option. Our crab dinners will never be the same.

It’s with a heavy heart that we send our love and deepest condolences to Lena, Jim, Bev, Ann, Ryan, Lucky, and all of Jessica’s extended family and friends. We will remember our Jessica with such fond memories. A top girl who made us laugh

This is such a very sad time. Happy memories and good times do prevail, and I have had wonderful times with Jessica and her family. We are all shocked still in Scotland and send much love to a wonderful family. Always in my thoughts. Love ❣️ Liz
