Wilhelm (Bill) Jaehrlich

February 4th, 2020

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Wilhelm (Bill) Jaehrlich.  He was surrounded by his loving family when he passed into the arms of his Heavenly Father.

Bill was born in Josefstal, Ukraine and came to Canada at the age of 13.

He was an ever-devoted husband, father, and ‘Opa’. He lived his Christian faith every day and was an example to all who knew him.  He had an infectious smile, always with a twinkle in his eye.

He leaves behind his wife of 60 years (Helen), their four sons, Ed (Sherry), Art (Diane), Carl (Lori), Paul (Monica), 12 grandchildren, one great-grandson, and his brother (John).

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors and nurses who faithfully cared for Bill during his illness.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Lutheran World Relief (CLWR).

A Service of Remembrance was held at St. John’s Presbyterian Church, in White Rock on February 12th, 2020 at 1pm.

You are invited to leave a personal message of condolence for the family.
