Grace Marion Lee

Mom passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at Laurel Place Hospice in Surrey, BC. Thanks to Dr. Mabie and the wonderful team who work and volunteer at Laurel Place for all of their kindness and caring.

Mom was predeceased by her loving husband John, of 53 years in 1988. She is survived by her son Len Lee (Angie), Daughters Donna (Phil) Henningson, Deb (Dan) Warlimont and all of their families. Grace was known as “Mom Lee” to 96 foster children, especially Debbie Hallson (Michael), Gary Hallson (Jacky) and family and David Bjork (Corinne) and family. Mom loved us all and had a special place in her heart for all of her children.

Grace is also survived by her sister June Cunningham (Regina, Sask.), sisters-in-law, Lois Huntley (Surrey, BC), Annabelle Lee (Surrey, BC), Edie Huntley (Woolsley Sask), and her brother-in-law Harry Kerr (Camrose, Alberta) as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Mom led a full and happy life, always putting others before herself. She was a very kind and caring person.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at The Berea Baptist Church located at 6062 132 St, Surrey, BC at 12 noon.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Grace’s memory, can be made to hospice or a charity of your choice.
