Unlike typical life insurance purchases, everyone is entitled to coverage and is accepted. Regardless of your age and health, you can pre-fund your arrangements on a flexible instalment basis. You pay the same price as everyone else.

Your pre-arrangement can be used at any Alternatives location. If you move to an area without an Alternatives nearby, your pre-funded plan is payable to any funeral home in North America, or to a beneficiary named by you.

When making your pre-arrangements, you may wish to opt in to the World Wide Travel Protection Plan, which takes care of all the details and expenses, should a death occur anywhere in the world (100 kilometres or more away from your primary residence). The process of returning a loved one back home is as simple as calling a toll-free phone number. 

Alternatives will provide you with a complimentary Advanced Planning Form, plus a Wishes and Memories Guide to help you record and organize your pre-arrangement instructions. A copy of your instructions is retained on file with Alternatives, and you will receive a laminated wallet card indicating your final wishes are on file with Alternatives.
