So sorry to hear of Irene's passing. She was a beautiful lady inside and out. I can still remember going to the Glenmerry Market with my pennies for black jaw breakers and her counting them out, that was like 40 yrs ago! A very patient, kind and gentle lady. I'm sure you will hold some wonderful memories close to your hearts.

So sorry to hear about (Grandma) Irene. I am so sorry that I was unable to make it back for the funeral. I was sad to hear that she had passed. She was such a wonderful lady. I remember going over to their house after school and before I was even in school. I would watch Price is Right with (Grandpa) Ted and she would always bring me weiners, cheese and white bread. I looked forward to that everytime I went over. She will be missed. Love, Megan

We were so very saddened to read of Irene's passing, but know that she is re-united with Ted. I am sure you boys (and grandchildren) have many, many memories to bring smiles to your faces. I know we certainly do. She was a wonderful lady and played a great part in the life's of our kids, especially Megan, during their young year. I remember the fun we had working together at the Glenmerry Market. May your memories give you much comfort at this time....Love, Jim, Donna, Megan & Devon Halpin

I am sending my thoughts and prayers in the loss of Irene. She was a wonderful lady and I always enjoyed my visits with her and Ted at Columbia View Lodge. I wasn't aware that she had moved to Grand Forks. May God give you comfort and peace in the days ahead.
